Where the pilot could fit

The relevant problem is repeated billing complexity: current prices and changes sit in agreements while actual invoices sit elsewhere. The owner, finance manager or person responsible for invoicing would confirm the schedule and review the output.

The pilot may be unnecessary if your existing process already compares the right terms and billing records efficiently. It is not based on an assumption that every cleaning business has billing mistakes.

A deliberately limited scope

The proposed check covers fixed recurring fees and customer-confirmed fixed-fee changes. Credits and properly allocated billing records can be considered. Missing or disputed terms may prevent a supported comparison.

Excluded: complex CPI formulas, contract drafting, legal enforceability decisions, tax advice, payroll, legislation monitoring, SWMS/SDS assessment, NDIS compliance, debt collection, automatic invoice posting and payment processing.

A flagged difference is for review. No recovery amount or customer outcome is guaranteed.

What needs to happen first

The pilot is in development. Delivery must be tested using authorised records; suitable engagement and data-handling arrangements must be settled; and the scope and GST presentation must be confirmed before a quote.

There is no ongoing price commitment. A useful one-off review would not by itself establish that another paid cycle is needed.
